We went threw at least three different mortgage brokers and three realtors this year and they all said the same thing, "your income/debt ratio is too high and you need to pay off some bills before you can qualify." You can't get approved for that amount, but never told us what we could get approved for. One mortgage broker told my husband if he paid off $4000.00 of his debt that he would qualify for the home that we saw on Kennicot Court on May 15th. I know that God is high but looks down low and he saw our desperate need to find a home that we all loved and could afford. Our family consists of my wonderful husband Ben of almost 18 years, my two children Tony who is 14 and Tenesia who is 12 years old. The past three years has been a constant roller coaster with moving from one place to another due to my own impatience and not waiting on God.After realizing how important it is to truly TRUST GOD in all that you set out to do, that is when our blessing appeared. Through one click on Craigslist under Realtors the answer was clear that through God's interceeding, the right people will come along and make something impossible become a reality. I emailed Tracy Holt on June 7th regarding our financial situation and that we had saw the house on Kennicot Court earlier but the previous realtor just contacted the other agent once but did not continue to investigate more on what the sellers were willing to negotiate. We exhausted our savings due to me working as a substitute teacher this year and having an abundance amount of money was not coming into existence. My husband and I are firm believers of sowing seeds and paying our tithes.I had been fasting and praying after seeing the house on 3509 Kennicot Court. We have been renting since 2007 after moving to Memphis TN only finding out that the move was a big disaster. To no avail, circumstances continued to drain us physically, mentally and especially financially. But one thing I can truly say, meeting Tracy was not by accident but divine intervention.Tracy met with us on June 8, 2010 at the house on Kennicot Court. Earlier that day, Tracy's wonderful assistant Lynn called me and told me that a mortgage broker named Bryan Wright from ALI mortgage would be giving me a call around 10:30am. After speaking with Bryan, I felt a bit relieved because he really sounded like he wanted to help us in anyway he could. Bryan called me several times throughout that day. I had just given up after not hearing from Bryan before meeting Tracy.Around 4:55pm, Lynn called and left a message that Tracy was running late due to traffic. She called only 3 minutes later to say there was great news but she wanted Tracy to meet with us first. By 5:10pm, Tracy Holt met us for the first time. We shook hands before entering the home again. We looked around and as we entered the master bedroom, Tracy made the comment on how lovely OUR master bedroom was. She said well I might as well tell you that Bryan said if the paystubs show what was discussed over the phone that we ............WE WERE APPROVED FOR THE $228,500.00 loan.I almost fell to my knees and said THANK YOU JESUS!!!! Tracy said she was glad to hear me say that, because HE is the one who deserves the praise. My husband was overjoyed as well for the news and I could see tears coming down on his face. Before leaving Tracy asked if we could pray. We all took turns praying to God for everyone who took part in this process of providing us with home.After being rejected so many times, as a christian that can and it did deplete all faith I had saved up in me. That particular moment should have been frozen for all to see from where we were to now where we are. We not only got approved for the home but the buyers agreed to the loan of $227,000, to pay ALL closing costs up to $7500.00 and pay for a 1 year home warranty. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor than Tracy Holt and her wonderful and God fearing staff......We will close on our miracle home June 28, 2010 @ 3:00p.m. I thank God for this team of stewards, because they truly love what they do and it shows through sale after sale after sale...... God is using them in making families "Impossiblities become Realities."
